Success for Northern Ireland talent at the 2021 Galway Film Fleadh

On Sunday 25th July the Galway Film Fleadh came to a close, we are delighted that projects filmed in Northern Ireland and funded by Northern Ireland Screen were among the prestigious list of winners with Here Before and Saul & I taking home awards.
Here Before, the feature debut from Northern Ireland writer/director Stacey Gregg, picked up the Best Irish Film Award.
Here Before stars BAFTA-nominated actor Andrea Riseborough (Birdman, Battle of the Sexes). Jonjo O’Neill (The Fall, Fortitude), Martin McCann (Calibre, 71) and Eileen O’Higgins (Brooklyn).
After new neighbours move in next door, a bereaved mother, played by Riseborough, begins to question her reality in this unsettling psychological thriller written and directed by Stacey Gregg.
Saul & I, directed by Jon Beer and produced by Brian J. Falconer won the Best Fiction Short Award.
Saul & I is about a performance artist who launches a much-anticipated exhibition, the first since spending a decade in prison for killing her long-term collaborator.
