The BFI Film Academy Labs is hosting a free workshop, Right on the money: Funding your short film, on Saturday 10th July at 12:30pm. The Labs are designed to support 16-25 year old aspiring filmmakers and help develop skills and projects from home.
The Lab will teach you everything you need to know about funding your short films. Find out where to look for funding opportunities, how to apply for money, and the best techniques for helping funders understand your ideas. Discover specific funding opportunities that are tailored towards young, aspiring filmmakers, and learn how to use a pitch deck to your advantage to effectively sell yourself and your project. Come along and hear our panel of industry professionals explain how to get the funding you need to bring your short film ideas to life.
