Date Posted: May 4, 2018

An opportunity to learn new production skills or develop your existing skills further at the NI Film & Television School.

The part-time HNC in Creative Media course (starting Sept 2018) is now accepting online applications.  Successful applicants will have the opportunity to try their hand at script writing, learn how to use industry standard kit (cameras, sound and lighting rigs) and edit using Premiere Pro. You’ll be working with like-minded people of all ages who want to make film and television. Recent graduates have gone on to join Northern Ireland Screen’s prestigious Aim High Scheme as well as securing work at BBCNI and with independent production companies in Northern Ireland and the UK.

The course is delivered over two full days a week (9.15am to 5.15pm) and is taught by industry professionals at SERCs Bangor campus. Course units are taught via a mix of lectures, workshops, film residentials and industry masterclasses. Fees this year are £886, payable in instalments but funding may be available depending on eligibility.
