BFI Doc Society Local at Docs Ireland

Join fellow filmmakers and the team from Doc Society at BFI Doc Society Local at Docs Ireland, taking place in Belfast on Friday 14th June 2019.

This is the next stop in a series of day-long touring events where the BFI Doc Society Fund team share news on commissioning and funding opportunities (including the BFI national lottery funds) to highlight and explore creative documentary filmmaking and encourage new voices. It’s also an opportunity to participate in personal one-to-one ‘doc surgeries’ as well a networking event hosted by Northern Ireland Screen with fellow filmmakers interested in non-fiction forms of storytelling.

Representatives in attendance include Docs Ireland, Northern Ireland Screen, Screen Ireland, BBC Storyville, NOWNESS, BBC Ideas, Guardian Documentaries, BFI Doc Society fund supported filmmakers Beryl Richards and Lanre Malaolu and more. Please follow @TheDocSociety for announcements.

This event takes place as part of Docs Ireland and is free to attend, to commit to the full day please register your attendance via Eventbrite.
