Skye, whose mother passed away two years earlier, is a loving, sensitive and family-oriented teenager. Her maternal grandfather owns a small hotel, which is where her late mother grew up. When the grandfather retires, Skye convinces her father to realise her mother’s dream and take over the management of the hotel. The hotel is located in a small village and after the move she tries to fit in with the close-knit group of teens who live there. She discovers that it is not easy to be “the new girl” and she struggles to carve out a place for herself. She finds new friends, makes a fierce enemy, and finds herself torn between two boys.
