

QFT (Queen's Film Theatre) is one of the longest operating cultural cinemas in the British Isles. It was opened in October, 1968 and, save for a period of closure in 1972, has been operating ever since.
QFT, is now open in its expanded and dramatically improved arts complex at the Centre for Drama and Film at Queen's. Re-built on the site of the original QFT building at no.20 University Square, this new building promises to provide its customers with the comfort and luxury to match the quality of its programming.

As well as screening a mixture of art house cinema with new and classic films and more mainstream cinema, QFT delivers a wide and varied education programme for both primary and post-primary students in a wide rage of subjects including french, history and moving image arts.
