Green Inc. Film and Television, Northern Ireland’s biggest independent production company has won a competitive tender for a brand new Flagship Entertainment show for TV 3, Ireland. The new talk show hosted by Brendan Courtney (The Brendan Courtney Show) is set for transmission later this autumn.
Commissioned by Jane Gogan, (Commissioning Editor) and Matthew Salway, (Director of Programming) the series will be produced by Amanda Sangorski (V Graham Norton-C4, What’s the Problem-BBC, The Joan Rivers Position-Five) and Executive Produced by Stephen Stewart. The initial series of one hour episodes will run midweek for 12 episodes.
Transmitting each week from a top Dublin venue, the show will feature comedy monologue, revealing interviews with topical guests from the world of entertainment, sport and politics, comedy stunts, audience challenges & interactive viewers competitions.
Brendan Courtney’s recent work includes Love Match (ITV), Weddings Live (Discovery Europe), and he is currently presenting a one hour red carpet special from the EMMYs, BAFTA, & Soap Awards for Living TV. Previous UK programmes include the ITV2 spin-offs of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and Blind Date
