The official film, created to support the Derry~Londonderry UK City of Culture
2013 bid, was produced by the award-winning arts organisation the
Nerve Centre, with contributions from Willie Doherty and Seamus Heaney.
The film captures the vibrancy of the city's cultural scene and gives voice and vision to the enthusiasm, passion and commitment with which the city embraced the City of Culture bid process.
Featuring music by Snow Patrol - "Just Say Yes", the film was produced by Pearse Moore and written and directed by John Peto.

The Nerve Centre receives funding from Northern Ireland Screen for its work with the agency's Education Department. The Nerve Centre’s education policy aims to demonstrate practical ways in which film, music, animation and digital technologies can enhance current learning and teaching practices. As a Creative Learning Centre, the Nerve Centre provides a range of training and creative activity support programmes for teachers and their pupils in the new technologies of the digital age. Derry, which was short-listed alongside Birmingham, Sheffield and Norwich, will take the mantle for the UK's inaugural City of Culture in 2013. The announcement was broadcast live from Liverpool on the BBC's The One Show on Thursday night.
