Development seminar with Graham McAllister

Date Posted: September 11, 2017

Northern Ireland Screen is hosting a development seminar with Graham McAllister on User Experience on Thursday 28th September from 7:00pm at Vandal, 3 Winecellar entry Belfast, BT11QN.

Talk outline:

What are the barriers to creating great games? Some factors may be outside your control, but many are within your control. This talk will show evidence on how developers are making mistakes on the factors inside their control, leading to reduced game scores, negative feedback online, and lesser revenues. Guidance will then be provided on how to address this, how can you approach game development so that these issues are minimised? Essentially, how can you develop your game with the player in mind.

Who should attend?

Game producers and developers looking to understand how to take a user centric approach to development and to minimize design pitfalls during development.

Students studying game development or animation may also find these sessions useful.
