Applications open for ‘Trainee CG Generalist’ Company Placement

Northern Ireland Screen has launched its skills development programme called TRAINEE CG GENERALIST 2018.
The programme will provide a training opportunity in an Animation/VFX Studio in Belfast for one person. The post is open to anyone whose long-term goal is to work in the VFX, Animation or Gaming sectors. This is a paid placement scheme (NMW/NLW), which will run for 12 months from August 2018 and the participant will gain experience working across Animation, VFX and TV/film projects
Who should apply?
Applicants who can demonstrate;
- A willingness to learn and are committed to a career in VFX, Animation or Gaming.
- A passion for visual effects, entertainment and 3D experiences as well as photography and film.
- Confidence in the understanding of digital art processes and the production and technical requirements of CG content development.
The closing date for applications is Thursday 16th August at 12pm.
