London UK Film Focus 2013: Breakthrough Strand launches Call for Entries
The London UK Film Focus (LUFF) returns from 24 – 27 June 2013 at the BFI Southbank, London.
Now in its tenth year, the four-day export event provides a platform to celebrate and promote British films and talent to the international market. The strictly invitation-only event attracts 120 buyers from all world territories who come to see around 50 new British titles.
In addition to the screenings of new British films represented by UK sales companies, LUFF also offers the Breakthrough strand. This showcases feature films from emerging British film-makers seeking sales representation, and provides sales companies and international buyers from across the globe with the chance to monitor upcoming talent.
Breakthrough films must be predominantly British, full feature length in duration and of theatrical nature and quality. As LUFF is a showcase for new films, priority will be given to those titles not seen at other festivals/markets. Breakthrough is intended for the purpose of finding a sales company for your film.
