3D Computer Animation Short Course, Maya Foundation
The University of Ulster at Belfast, York Street is offerring a 3D Computer Animation Short Course in Autodesk Maya beginning in January: every Friday, January 11th - March 15th (10-weeks), 10am-4pm.
Maya is the industry standard 3D animation software used to create this year's biggest blockbuster films and games. Whether you want to work in film, games, television, or web and multimedia production, Maya 2013 offers state-of-the-art toolsets, in an end-to-end solution designed to meet today’s demanding production requirements. Developed in partnership with the Northern Ireland Skillset Media Academy, the University of Ulster at Belfast is now offering an Autodesk Maya Foundation course under the direction of industry professionals Professor Greg Maguire and Conánn Fitzpatrick.
No prior 3D experience is required but it is advisable that students have access to a computer outside the classroom to accomplish the required study hours.
