Development Co-ordinator vacancy
Northern Ireland Screen wishes to recruit a Development Coordinator on a 9 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, within the Production Department. A large part of the work of the Development Coordinator is the finding and developing of screenwriters who can express the many unique voices of Northern Ireland.
It is essential that the Development Co-ordinator have at least two years experience in theatre, film and/or television in a script development role; an excellent knowledge of the writing community in Northern Ireland coupled with an excellent knowledge of the film and television production industry in the U.K. and Ireland will be required; as is a good knowledge of the key development funding bodies within the industry.
Information Technology skills and the ability to apply them to a script development environment are also essential.
